1010 WINS is now on 92.3 FM. No more “Alt 92.3”
I miss 1010 wins
It’s coming on October 27th, and it is going to be on 92.3 FM which is 92.3 WINS-FM.
The station still exists. The format hasn’t changed since April 1965. However, it is now 1010 WINS and 92.3 FM (also with the WINS callsign).

These are absolutely delightful to watch again, after all these years. We didn't have these in the Chicagoland TV market until the late 70s, or early 80s, as they ran on an independent station [Channel 32] or possibly one of the satellite channels, however, it was one show my parents and I all loved and would actually watch together. I didn't know Allen Ludden had at one time been the host as the shows they ran in the Chicago market were all hosted by Bill Armstrong. Still a wonderfully humorous 1/2 hour of entertainment. Thanks for posting these!!!
How long was Win,Lose or Draw on NBC daytime?
According to Tom Kennedy, he was selected to do nighttime TPIR because it was right near Body Language. Also keep in mind that Bill Cullen and Dennis James were both Name That Tune and TPIR hosts and it was probably assumed that Tom Kennedy would translate into the same success.
that is what made this show great! Dave did whatever he thought would be funny!
I own a few of those vintage picnic baskets. Well made.
I liked this show.
My grandmother use to say that Joan would clap her hands like a seal.
Including the one bid prizes, The contestants won a grand total of $49,762.
did they cheat on this show too?
Why did this version fail?
I wonder how many automobiles did Brian Donovan win on total?
Jon once said his Hollywood Squares was the only one where the stars were not coached with ad lib ideas. Also, double mint.
I like the show but can see why it didn't catch on... Gene's a seasoned trooper and manages to keep things going. Jon's not bad, but Peter Marshall is inevitably going to be missed. Whenever Gene stabs "Watch it!", one has to wonder what the person(s) in the audience said. Or think to more recent revivals (e.g. MG98 onward) because chances are the contestant or panelists actually said it. A few too many recycled questions in amongst the new (which were funnier), brash think music, a weird opening scene, recycled theme music from The Price is Right, and weird set designs seem distracting.
I used to watch this show all the time in high school......my goal was to go on just so he could tell me to "take a hike"
@4:47 I never thought Id hear Big Red do an announcers gauntlet.
Somebody should give this announcer an announcing duty on Late night television......Oh Wait
Is this Gene's only Bob Stewart game show
"Video. Village" would go on to a successful two-year run on CBS's daytime schedule.
Jay Leno is going to be the fourth host of this show in the fall of 2021!
Bert Convy was the best host of this show by far.
Sadly, Bert Convy died three years later.
It's Mrs. Puff!
It's an okay game. The problem I have is that you don't win much money and I wasn't around when this show aired so I wouldn't even know half the headlines.
Best ever! This is all we had to look forward to, we didn’t have highlights we didn’t have trivia we didn’t have the Internet. This was perfect
This show became All-Star Secrets.
I really liked Donahue when it was on. But I forgot just how manic he was. He's a frikkin' tornado of energy.
this show is better then some shows right know graham norton took it from joan rivers
Great show
Those aren’t inventions. They are just conjured up things with existing inventions.
Future game show directors Bruce Burmester and George Choderker on the staff here.
William Todman, Jr. still works for Fremantle.
I just came across an episode of this on an old VHS tape. The cringe was real on the episode I had to watch. Thanks for uploading though so I was able to see what some of the other episodes are like.
What a treat! ❤
The biggest problem I have with the show was the panto-like audience, hollering or booing at every question. Very annoying, sometimes leads the contestants to the wrong answer, and just felt like those trash talk shows.
This is so old that June Lockhart had yet to become the mom on Lassie!
This was the show before contestants yelled "Big Bucks, No Whammies!"
3:54 Notice the three choices are "Celtics", "Trail Blazers" and "Philadelphia", instead of "76ers."
It's now 2020 and Peter Marshall is still going strong at 94 years old.
The Wheel Of Fortune announcer also was a game show host too
WOW! Vanna's southern accent was very strong in the 80s!
The last new installment of Goodson-Todman's last original production. After that it was all retreads from there!
Wow look at how young and handsome Marc looked in this video
It's so cool to see the star of #Scrabble on the other side of this hit game show! Well played, Chucky boy!

Mr. Gallagher of Weston, Ct. sure took a page from the Don Draper handboook! (or vice-versa..)
I Love Retro, Classic TV
